Thoughts on the name Annie / Molly

Hi, I'm new to Mumsnet (and am a Dad)

We have a little girl on the way and we like the names Annie (not a shortened version of anything) & Molly. My surname is Mason

What do people think? And are there any suggestions for other girls names that would go well with Mason

I like them both but Molly to me is a scary Rivers of London character.

I never heard animation until it was pointed out! Ha! We probably won't go with that.

I've thought about the MM with Molly and can't decide whether it sounds good or not.

Other name ideas are welcome, I like Zara, and she will have a big brother called Oscar if that helps

I like them both, I preferred Annie Mason until pp mentioned ‘animation’!!

Molly Mason sounds good in my opinion.

I have a gay male friend and i automatically associate the MM initials with Male-Male steamy fiction category. That's probably just me though.

I think annie is adorable and love an alliterative FN LN combo — sorry, no help.

I like molly more but don’t like MM my surnames also M starting and I didn’t chose any M names for that reason 😬
