So far have Flora, Florence, Fiona, Felicity.

To be clear, it’s for. 6 year old girl character in a book I’m writing. The surname is Cameron.

Fiona is Scottish.

Ffion (but that's welsh!)

Fawn (is English origin)

Freya
Finola
Fenella are all Scottish.

Thank you Felicia.

Now going between Fiona and Flora - I want it to sound Scottish, so some are definite a definite no.

Thanks for all suggestions.

You could always make up a name.

I know this doesn't start with an F but the accent is definitely on the F and I think it goes beautifully with your surname....Seraphina/serafina?

Sorry for your loss Thanks

I had a cousin called Fabiola.

Twoforthree · 15/04/2021 22:49

What sort of personality has she got?

Ellmau · 15/04/2021 22:48

Fiona is definitely dated. It could work, but you would need to write in a reason the parents picked it.

Cameron? Bit ex-PM?

WillowintheUK · 15/04/2021 19:24

Sorry, slow getting back here, had a bereavement today.
Thanks for all suggestions, lots to think about.
Thinking of Fiona Cameron. Is that too old fashioned for a modern day six year old?

I have a Felicity Faith! My other choice was Fenella Faye.

LostInTheColonies · 15/04/2021 06:51

What's her character like? Fenella nn. Fen would be ace if she's a bit kick-ass and feisty... Not so much if she's going to be more of a delicate flower Grin
