Definitely not Lucy or Lola - both overused & not names for grown women IMHO

Lara is ok, although isn't there a gaming character with that name? (I'm not really of this world Grin)

Lucia is beautiful. I'd go with that.

Lola is just a nickname for Maria, so Spanish speakers may assume you have named your child Maria and are just using a nickname.

Mind you lots of English people use Lola as a name on its own. So, I suppose it depends on where you live and your cultural background, as with any name it will mean something more to you because of why you chose it.

Actually Lola is a diminutive for Delores but has been a name in its own right for many generations ( even in Spanish speaking countries)

They're all lovely, but I like all the 'ara' names, so Lara definitely gets my vote.

Lucia - Lucy-a/Loose-ee-a/Looch-ee-a/Loosha - too complicated

Lara by a mile. Beautiful name. (like previous poster I love Clara too)
Not keen on Lucy or Lucia ad really dislike Lola.

I know you’ve asked about Lara, but how about Clara instead? It sounds softer than Lara and more beautiful.

Lola is a popular name so I wouldn’t choose that, Lucy is cute for a child but not so much for an adult, and I’m not keen on Lucia.

I love them all but Lucy, Lara and Lucia are classic. Lola is my favourite but it is a bit marmite. I would probably use it as a short version of something else or at least chose a very classic name for a middle name.
