Lucy, Lucia, Lara are all good, in that order for me.
Love Lucienne too.

Lovely names, but I wouldn't choose Lola. It either makes me think of the first line Barry Manilow's 'Copacabana' (Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl, With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there...)
Or it's the stranger in a nightclub in The Kinks 'Lola'.
Might be just showing my age though!

Lola to me is a short form of Lolita so it's a definite no no. Lucy feels a little bit old fashioned to me and a bit boring (sorry!). Lara is ok but quite posh. Lucia- how would you pronounce it? Lucia as in St Lucia or Lucia like lu-seea?

I preferLara and Lucia. Lucy is also nice but Lola I dislike. Not only reminds me of Lolita (means little Lola) but I envision a good time girl.

Having worked with children for 10+ years, I know lots of little Lucy and Lola under age 6.

Only 2 Lucia, 1 pronounced Loo-chee-a aged 9 (Italian family) and one pronounced Loo-see-a aged 6 (Eastern European family). I prefer the Loo-see-a pronunciation but found most people tend to assume the Loo-chee-a.

A few Lucy and Lara my age - 30+ but not met a young Lara. (Few Clara/Zara/Cara!)
