I'm having a really hard time deciding which one to go for,
Surname is one syllable and starts with G. X

They are all equally nice and all very popular classic names. You can’t go wrong. Maybe see what baby suits when they arrive

PrudenceDictates · 15/04/2021 16:25

Arthur and George both sound grey and stodgy to me.

I really like James, though!

AmyFl · 14/04/2021 23:30

James

VanillaAndOrange · 14/04/2021 23:24

I really like all three but I think maybe James has the edge.

Troyhelena · 14/04/2021 17:51

James

I think I might be tempted to use all 3: George Arthur James G** flows very well.

wishing3 · 13/04/2021 23:55

James

DramaAlpaca · 13/04/2021 23:11

James, definitely.

WeekendCEO · 13/04/2021 23:10

James is really nice. I like George as well, not keen on Arthur.

OppsUpsSide · 13/04/2021 23:05

James

George and Arthur are much more popular and not as nice James.

LouLikesLollies · 13/04/2021 23:03

James or George. Not Arthur sounds like an old man with a pipe.

worriedatthemoment · 13/04/2021 18:33

Arthur is quite popular now
Other 2 are both timeless names in my opinion

ThatsGoodCakeLove · 13/04/2021 17:03

James, definitely the nicest name of the three. And a wonderful band too.

MrsBertBibby · 13/04/2021 16:10

James, by a country mile.

OolieMacdoolie · 13/04/2021 16:07

James

PollyThePony · 13/04/2021 15:50

James

Twizbe · 13/04/2021 15:35

I love James and pp are right about it not being as popular any more. I honestly expected to hear it around a lot more than I have.

I also agree with waiting now until baby is here. He might fit one better than the others.

ChnandlerBong · 13/04/2021 15:25

depends how the 'g' in the surname sounds - is it a j sound or a g sound?

but do agree with the poster saying best wait and see what he looks like?

Flymetothestars · 13/04/2021 15:13

James

toastofthetown · 13/04/2021 14:49

They are all fine names, and fairly ubiquitous. Why not wait until the baby is born and see what feels right then?

KoalaOok · 13/04/2021 13:37

I would go Arthur as your last name begins with a G

Extrapepperoni · 13/04/2021 12:55

James.
