Arthur, Seb, or Jack?

These are my top three names. Which do you like best to go with brother Noah? Other suggestions welcome but would prefer to avoid another biblical name x

Seb (but I'm biased 😉)

palapenojopper · 14/04/2021 20:40

Jack

Bimblybomeyelash · 14/04/2021 20:36

Arthur and Sebastian are the two most common boys names that know! I don’t know any little Jack’s. I think that they are all nice names.

drpet49 · 14/04/2021 20:31

Arthur

emmie841 · 13/04/2021 16:44

Thanks everyone for replies. It would be Sebastian but Seb for short if we went with that choice x

I like all of them as long as Seb is short for Sebastian. Jack is my favourite, then Sebastian, then Arthur, but they are all great and names I would have considered for my DSs.

RickiTarr · 13/04/2021 16:13

I know a Bash short for Bathsheba.

Violetlavenders · 13/04/2021 16:11

Jack, Matt and Nick are very well established names.

I have never met a Bash, so my main association is bash, a heavy blow. Maybe others don't have that association?

GreenEyedDevil · 13/04/2021 14:49

Arthur or Jack

TatianaBis · 13/04/2021 14:45

I like Bash too.

Nick means to steal, doesn’t put people of Nicholas. Matt means dull/without shine.

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 13/04/2021 14:25

I know what it means as a verb, thank you. It’s a pretty long-established form.

Jack isn’t a great option if that’s your approach: jack up a price, jack it in, jack off, carjacking...

Violetlavenders · 13/04/2021 14:15

Bash?!

verb
1 strike hard and violently."they bashed him over the head with a blunt object"

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 13/04/2021 14:10

Bash is my favourite diminutive of Sebastian Grin

Violetlavenders · 13/04/2021 14:00

Jack or Arthur

Seb sounds like it's short for sebaceous (oily). It's too soft and incomplete to be considered a name, especially a male name. Sebastian is nice, however. But unfortunately it doesn't shorten well (Basty? Seb?)

Notashandyta · 13/04/2021 08:57

Jack definitely

YouAreYourBestThing · 13/04/2021 08:21

Sebastian. Not Seb.

Jack is way too popular and Arthur is the new 'Oliver' and also very popular. By the time your son is starting school, he'll be one of 5 in his class 🤦‍♀️

OneKeyAtATime · 13/04/2021 01:36

Jack

IdblowJonSnow · 13/04/2021 01:19

Arthur. By miles.

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 13/04/2021 01:07

Arthur
Seb(astian)

Then by some distance, Jack - it’s rubbish to have a really really popular name on its way back down the charts and there have been so many Jacks over the last 25 years.

RickiTarr · 13/04/2021 00:04

Arthur or Jack.

DramaAlpaca · 13/04/2021 00:04

Jack

PennyArcade · 12/04/2021 23:22

Seb or Jack.

Troyhelena · 12/04/2021 23:06

Arthur if you really must

MadeOfStarStuff · 12/04/2021 22:35

Arthur

Seb feels very incomplete on its own

Flymetothestars · 12/04/2021 22:34

Arthur but love all 3
