Tomorrow son is coming home and he still doesn't have a name, I feel awful as I'm constantly calling him 'baby'.

His dad told me he doesn't have any names in mind and it's up to me but I'm just not sure. We already had a girls name but son is a boy.

We want something which isn't extremely popular and also which isn't spelt an uncommon way and isn't too different.

Congratulations Smile We have a Fergus. Never met another and always get positive comments on his name.
We are considering Fergus ☺️ It’s lovely! We’re between that and our original choice Harris

OP curious as to what you ended up calling your little one?!

Autumn is a great girls' name. Boys names I'd consider to be in a similar vibe would be: River, Jasper, Heath, Rowan, Ash, Dylan, Silas.

Woody?

YoniAndGuy · 09/04/2021 20:49

Ok so Autumn is fairly modern, and a nature name. How about:

Heath
River
Wolf
Fox

?

Trad names which I like:

Jonathan - Jon or Jonny for short is cute but also great for an adult.
Thomas - Tom - can’t go wrong.

The girls name would've been Autumn. Baby is now home but we still can't find a name that 'fits'

I take it you're not in Scotland @Tillyscoutsmum? They're everywhere up here!
What were your girl's names to give us an idea of vibe?
Based on a previous thread Colin isn't very popular these days and the spelling is quite normal ;)
