Ella, Eden and .....

Hi

Already have two girls Ella Nicole and Eden Summer (both of which I absolutely love) but finding it so hard to find another girl's name!

Have a small list of 6 names, 5 of which start with E...! That is not intentional, just worked out that way. I did have one name that wasn't an E but husband has said no to that 😢

Current list is

Esme
(would want it pronounced Ez-may though, don't know if that would be an issue)

Ellexis
(newest to be added. Husband likes Lexi, I thought it would maybe be a compromise although would it just end up in her being called Lexi anyways)

Eliana

Everley

Eliza

Arielle

Does anybody have any other suggestions of names?

Love Esme but one of my best friends is using that for her daughter, My second favourite E name is Enya!

The only name on your list I like is Eliza. I know a few Esme's but they're all pronounced es-me, so not how you would like.
I like Eloise as previously mentioned, if you want to stay with E

Ellexis - spelt correctly Alexis is a lovely name.

Eliza is also lovely and classic. Esme too but the whole pronunciation thing would put me off.

The rest feel made up / faddy

Eleanor is lovely but you will end up with two children with El, Els etc for short.

Enya, Eva, all begin with E but have different vowel sounds to Ella and Erin

Spell it Esmé, then there won't be a problem with pronunciation.

Go on to the next letter, Flora.
Lois would go with Ella and Eden. A new letter altogether. But that's for the best imo

I agree that another El name doesn’t work.

I’d go with Emily/Emilia. (Don’t like Esme personally).

I would write off your El- beginning names so as not to be too similar to Ella. I’d write off Arielle for the same reason for the ending. I also think it would be good to break out of the E thing to not make it a theme, but I think another vowel name would probably go best. Some suggestions -

Esme is lovely. I've never heard it pronounced any other way.

I wouldn't have another El starting name, it would get shortened to Ellie and you already have a Ella.

Emily, Emma or Emilia?

Erin, Erica or Eriskay?

Esme is the nicest.

I thought Alexis was with an A. Never seen it with an E so if you are looking for a non-E name use that?
