Not expecting, just hypothetical (though I would 100% do this if DH approved it). What boys name do you love for a girl?

Mine is Claude.

Dylan, our 6 month old DD was very nearly a Dylan.

I don't. The only reason it's this way around is because calling a girl a boy's name is a promotion and calling a boy a girl's names is a demotion.

It's just sexism unless you'd call a boy Claudette. And I bet you wouldn't.

I don’t like the name Claude for a girl because it is a boys name - I’m a history nerd and saw there was a French princess called Claude in 1600s and thought it was beautiful. Only after mentioning it to family and friends, and then looking it up online did I realise in modern day it is pretty much unheard of as a girls name. Also, as it happens I like boys names that do sound feminine to the ear - Gabriel, Sacha, Robin, Lucien...

Also, this is a light hearted thread - chill out. Nothing here is offensive or sexist. It simply discussing which conventionally boys name people like as girls.

None. Why is it always a boys name for a girl? Why don't you hear of a boy called Rose or Ivy?

Jamie
Harry (non for Harriet)

And for a boy with "girls name" I like Nicky.
