Boys name help!

Me again ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚ please help (again). Weโ€™ve been going round in circles with this list of names:

Harris - always been our favourite but itโ€™s suddenly at number 6 in Scotland when we go to have a baby! Was really hoping for something less popular
Kit - I love this name, my partner likes it but might take a bit more convincing. Iโ€™m a teacher and thereโ€™s a Kit at my school. Today another adult heard his name for the first time and said โ€˜Kit? I thought that was a girls nameโ€™. I was 99% convinced this was the name but Iโ€™m now doubting it too!
Jenson - this is almost at number 200 on the Scottish list for 2020 (only 23 born last year) but this week I heard there is a baby in our town called it ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
Fergus - itโ€™s at number 104. My partner loves this name. I like it and think it would depend what he looked like whether heโ€™d suit it.

Thoughts or any other suggestions? Really just want to settle on something now!

Pick your favourite. You may know one or two with it but youโ€™ve no control over how many you may hear of a name after youโ€™ve named your baby it. So if you pick your second or third favourite because it is rarer then two weeks after having him hear of another baby with the same name, youโ€™ll have given up your more loved name for nothing.

Kit is a boyโ€™s name. Donโ€™t let the comment put you off if this is the one for you.

Forget the popularity. Which one is your favourite if no one else had used it. Why shouldn't your baby have your favourite name?

Hufflepuffsunite · 01/04/2021 20:13

I'd go for Kit or Fergus.

Love Harris and Fergus.

Alternatives:
Duncan
Douglas
Logan
Hamish

Fergus by far, thank DH is right.

@DotDotDotDotDot

I really like Fergus, Iโ€™m surprised itโ€™s not more popular in Scotland actually. Harris is lovely too but itโ€™s a shame itโ€™s so popular now. Maybe Lewis or Cormac?
I like it too, would be nice because itโ€™s a bit different. I know, just feel like a top 10 name is a bit obvious ๐Ÿ˜• I do like Lewis too but thereโ€™s quite a few baby Lewisโ€™

@PurpleFlower1983

Both becoming popular though.
Thatโ€™s my top two I think but the comment about Kit today has made me a bit wary. Harris is way more popular than Kit here, the one at my school is the only one I know
