Can I have some honest opinions on the name Milo please. I've recently heard this name and I like it but I'm not sure if it sounds ridiculous? I like less common names but not extremely unique x

Not keen on it. Milky drink in a green tin.

I like it, I’m trying to name a boy just now too and so many of the nice boys name I have already used for my many many pets 😂 I have a cat called Milo 🤦🏼‍♀️ But love it! X

I think it's ok. I do think of it as more of a dog's name to be honest, but it's still quite sweet. Personally I'd go for Miles and then use Milo as a nn when he's little.

I have a Milo and he's awesome, I don't know any others and I couldn't imagine him being called anything else!

The Tweenies were a big thing when mine were little (don't know if it's still popular) so I instantly thought of that. I don't dislike the name though, there's certainly nothing horrible about it.

partyatthepalace · 21/03/2021 17:50

I like it - but it is relatively popular OP.

Miles a little less popular I think. Check on darkgreener.

I think it's a perfectly acceptable name. I know a couple of little boy Milos and one older boy Milo. Not my cup of tea personally, but I don't by any means find it to be a weird name. I'd say go for it if you like it :)

allofthecheese · 21/03/2021 17:42

I first thought of the tweenies for some strange reason lol

KateMuff · 21/03/2021 17:41

I love the drink so it always makes me think of that, maybe that's because I grew up in a different country where it's very popular

I’m not keen sorry. I instantly think of this, but that’s because I like it,
milo
I have also heard someone calling their dog back on the beach as Milo

I know an adult called Milo. I never thought anything bad about it, it suited him.

Peeteea · 21/03/2021 17:34

I know a couple of people with children named Milo. I like it. Not ridiculous and not unheard of but not everywhere either. Good alternative to Max or Myles/Miles if you like the feel of them but lesser heard in my experience.

Go for it!
