I grew up in a surfer town.

Zephyr, Blue, Kelly, John.. and anything popular for babies born in mid 60s :).

it's the skin & hair, though, that told you if someone is a surfer. Seriously sun-wrecked. When I was a stoner we all thought the surfers were utter airheads. I think they smoked a lot more pot than we did, tbh!!

My son owns a surf school and his name is Rob. His mates who also surf really well are Mark, Will and James! They all look like surfers.

Female surfers I know: two Janes and a Lou(ise?), I met one called Nancy once. I don't think of any of those as sounding very surferly though!

Paul is the blondest, most tanned, most handsome surfer I know.

I know a Reef. He’s tall for his age and long haired, but mostly known for still being in nappies (Just because he likes them).
