ohhh that's a nice idea bc my surname actually begins with D. Eleanor also means "shining one" so together with Rose it means "shining rose" and the initials RED is just perfect!

I think Rose Cordelia is by far and away the best! I like the others but that stands out to me.
If your surname begins with D you could have Rose Eleanor and call her Rose Red. My surname begins with D and I was considering Rose Elizabeth for a daughter, but I had a son!

ILoveShula · 19/03/2021 15:15

Rose Antonia

RoseWineTime · 19/03/2021 14:32

We have a Rose Olivia

partyatthepalace · 19/03/2021 14:31

I think Rose Lavinia works best - as Rose is quite a soft slow sound and Lavinia sharp and light.

Rose Eleanor is a lovely classic. Rose Cordelia works well, as does Antonia.

Evangeline and Guinevere are nice names but work less well with Rose. Rose Amelie I think is too frilly, but Amelia would work.

Redsquirrel5 · 19/03/2021 01:51

Rose Clementine?

Glera · 18/03/2021 21:40

Rose Evangeline ♥️

TatianaBis · 18/03/2021 21:39

Not another blooming’ Rose.

Guinevere is stunning, forget all the others.

Guinevere Rose. Job done.

DramaAlpaca · 18/03/2021 21:37

I'd pick Rose Evangeline.

pilates · 18/03/2021 18:03

Rose Eleanor

Rose Alexandra sounds very nice

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 18/03/2021 17:53

So many gorgeous choices - but because Rose is a fairly popular classic, I'd go for one of the less common ones (so not Amelie or Eleanor).

My favourites are beautiful Antonia, followed by romantic Guinevere, followed by elegant Cordelia. Evangeline is okay, but I struggle with the "Lav" part of Lavinia.

helpmum2003 · 18/03/2021 17:07

I like all the names but think Cordelia and Antonia scan best.

Oodilallygolly · 18/03/2021 17:02

Eleanor or Evangeline

CrankyCankles · 18/03/2021 16:28

What stunning names.....I absolutely love Cordelia.

Happenchance · 18/03/2021 15:56

Rose Antonia

Mistyminion · 18/03/2021 10:44

Rose Antonia

Synchrony · 18/03/2021 10:30

I agree with the pp comment about emphasis on the second syllable. For this reason I like Lavinia, Cordelia and Antonia the best for flow.

Lalliella · 18/03/2021 09:44

All are pretty. Particularly like Amelie and Eleanor. Or combine to get the French Aliénor. I love that name but I’ve just realised it looks like Alien written down 😂

PlantPotting · 18/03/2021 09:28

Eleanor

MrsBertBibby · 18/03/2021 09:11

Is flows better with the second syllable of the middle name being stressed, rather than the first.

Rose Amelia would flow better than Rose Amelie, for instance.

I like Cordelia.

daisypond · 18/03/2021 07:52

They’re all good except Amelie.

MercyBodle · 18/03/2021 07:45

My favourites are
Rose Eleanor
Rose Antonia
Rose Guinevere ( my first choice)

I think they all work fine though. The only name among them I dislike is Lavinia.

twoofusburningmatches · 18/03/2021 06:43

@cassrose

Rose Eleanor

Perhaps Rose Vivianne or Rose Genevieve

Yes, all of these are really lovely
SmeleanorSmellstrop · 18/03/2021 06:41

Eleanor or Evangeline

ProperVexed · 18/03/2021 06:41

Cordelia...lovely!
