Is Jane boring?

Is Jane boring, and does it sound ok with sister Nina?

If you want brutal honesty, it will appear like you used your best girls name up on Nina & then couldn't think of another 'good' name

Jane is dated in a 'not due a comeback yet -if ever' kind of way.

I have a cousin Nina, her sister is Amanda, which I always thought was an odd combination too. A sister to Nina (IMO) needs a name that's not too plain, not too standard English name...

I love the name Jane.

But then I think popular names are boring (Ava, Ellie, Lily etc).

I think it’s due a comeback. I prefer it to flower or cute names.

It is a bit boring, but it goes very nicely with Nina.

My friend called Jane has always hated it and thinks it's boring, compared to her siblings names.
It doesn't go particularly well with Nina.

I don’t like it as a first name, it is a bit boring yes to my ears. It’s not dreadful but it’s not great. Nina is a pretty name but Jane always makes me think “Plain Jane”.

No, it's beautiful. Like Anna or Emma or Beth, some people are going to say yes it's boring but I love it, its beautiful in its simplicity

Boring yes. Sorry @eatsleepbreastfeedrepeatz Nina is such a lovely name and I don't think Jane compliments it very well.
