Obviously there are loads, but the ones that spring to mind tend to be more of the 'classic' / traditional type, or they just seem a bit dull. Examples:

Elizabeth
Margaret
Judith
Helen
Louise
Jane
Etc.

I'm looking for something which sounds pretty and a bit more modern - maybe ones which could be described as a little trendy, but not too 'out there' e.g.

Iris
Seren
Fern
Erin
Scarlett
Rose
Imogen
Etc.

Any other ideas?

We would have done Margaret, but used the nickname Margot. I think it's one of those great names that is traditional (so not too quirky and has stood the test of time) but can still pass as a more modern name. After two boys (and now pregnant with my third boy :( ) Margot is still my favorite name.

Have a look at some foreign versions of ie or a names, I had a couch surfer called 'Matilde' pronounced Mat ee ld.

Briggete, Chantal, Camile.

I haven't seen a Justine for a while and after years of only knowing one I came across another Meriel a few weeks ago.

Are you sure you don't like vowel endings? The first woman in space was called Valentina which is just a fabulous background for a name.
