What do you think of this name, I think it's fresh but not too out there. Not sure how others would view it though.

title edited by MNHQ at OP's request.

Froths 😭

kobo · 15/03/2021 20:49

I see what you mean about it being lispy. I think it sounds light, I like Frida too, but it has a very different feel to me. Also while I hugely admire Frida Kahlo, I wouldn't want people to assume that's who she was named after. Froths is growing on me the more I say it. 😂

Hi there, @kobo - to avoid further confusion and unintended hilarity, we've now edited your thread title, as requested. That said, we reckon 'Froths' has a certain charm Grin

FurrySlipperBoots · 15/03/2021 20:48

Fritha sounds like someone with a lisp trying to say something else! How about Freya?

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 15/03/2021 20:45

I'd be tempted to stick with Frida since it is much more well known, but Fritha is kinda cool (has a stronger ancient or Viking image to me for some reason).

iklboo · 15/03/2021 20:44

😂😂😂

DramaAlpaca · 15/03/2021 20:43

Fritha isn't great, it's very lispy-sounding. It's better than Froths though Grin

LondonMummer · 15/03/2021 20:41

Sounds really "spitty" and no one will understand it so she (he??) would be endlessly repeating it or spelling it - "Tricia?" "No Fritha! - rhymes with...?" I'm afraid it sounds like someone struggling to say something else with a speech impediment

CabernetSoWhat · 15/03/2021 20:31

Froths!! Grin OMG, OP, I thought you were out of your mind!

Fritha... I'm not the biggest fan tbh. Makes me think of the rabbit god from Watership Down and Vikings, but it's not awful.

Autocorrecting to "Froths" is probably a drawback...

KirstenBlest · 15/03/2021 20:28

Froths is too out there, @kobo.

I've met a Fritha. It's quite pretty and seems a bit scandi or norse. I'd not use it in areas where th sounds like f

Yamaya · 15/03/2021 20:28

Oh, thank goodness you didn't mean Froths Grin
I like Fritha!

Watchingthetelly · 15/03/2021 20:27

Grin definite not Froths. Not loving Fritha either though, it’s a bit awkward on the tongue.

Doyoumind · 15/03/2021 20:27

You can report your post and ask for mnhq to amend the title.

Fritha is nice. Froths not so much.

kobo · 15/03/2021 20:25

Haha ! Fritha! Don't know how to edit title.
