Names often skip a generation, so I was wondering what everyone's parents names are. It could be a vague look into the future...

Mine are Dan and Wendy
DH's are Nick and Michele

@Finewine76

Beverley and Keith
This is my favourite pairing. Keith would have been captain of the school football team and Bev would have had a 70s perm.

@Drunkenmonkey

To the people saying the mums are called Nicola, stop it you're making me feel old. Nicola was a 70's/80's name!
I was born in the 90s, so parents of my generation were born in the 60s & 70s. To be fair there were a couple of Nicoles in my year at school as well Smile
@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g I have dc with a name in your group and so does sibling.

I guess suggesting that names come in cycles.
Yes! @lunarlife, this was my list:

Ann, John, Margaret, Lisbeth, Lizzie, Annie, Effie (short for Euphemia), Nichol, Sylvia, Colin, Finlay, Andrew, Willie, Martin, Graham, Audrey, Ted, Jessie, Winnie, David, Alec, Charles, Christine, Grant, Flora, Alistair, Horace, Sid, Violet, Lilian, Amy, Albert, Ronald, Dennis, Joan, Kath, Tony.

I'm guessing the ones that are fairly common nowadays are Finlay, Audrey, David, Flora, Violet, Lilian, Amy, Albert. Just possibly Sid. Quite a few little boys called Ronnie, I suppose.

Lisbeth and Lizzie both had Elizabeth on their birth certificates. Kath was Katherine. Willie was William. Alec was Alexander. Those are all probably still in the top 100 - top 200 anyway.
