What do you think of the name Josephine? And do you think you can have a josie if you have a Lucy??

I wanted to shorten my DD4 ( now 20) to Fifi. So thought about Josephine. Settled on Seraphina
I love the name Seraphina! One of my favourites.

Love it, but I would have Fina as a nickname (I knew a lovely German Josephine who was Fine, pronounced Fina)

I hate nicknames in general, but Josie is one of a few exceptions. It helps that I know a couple of extremely cute baby Josies! I also really like Jo as an adult nn, and Josephine for the full name is beautiful.

I like Josephine and I don't think Josie and Lucy are a problem. I also like Posy and Sephy as nicknames. I will say that almost every adult Josephine I know has been Jo, which would rule the name out totally for me
