What do you think of the name Penelope Mae for a girl with penny-mae for when LO is young love the middle name mae

Prefer Penelope May.

I know of 2 Penelopes born this year! Is it quite trendy atm?

Penelope is lovely.
I wouldn’t call Mae a flower name. Mayflower is a flower, May maybe but Mae no. I much prefer the spelling May, especially if you want to draw out the flower link. The ae looks so ugly.

Haha fair enough Penelope would be a proper name as poor kids with a serious job and the cutest name is HARD but I quite like really cutest names for LO so twee is fine with me Smile but chavy?

I don't like Mae. May is bad enough but Mae is awful. Penny is ok.
I love the name Mae, I love older fashioned names that just me I guess plus cute flower names so mae was a nice middle compromise Smile guess each have there own opinion of what they love

We use DD1’s middle name as part of her nickname. We shorten her middle name instead but it’s cute whilst she’s young.

Go for it if you like it.
