Hector or Otto? Suggestions welcome! :)

I’ve got a cat called Otto, so I like it but struggle now to think of it as a name for a child.
I probably prefer Hector for a child BUT I do also think of the verb eg to hector which puts me off.

So, I don’t dislike either of them, probably wouldn’t think twice about them if I was introduced to a child with the name, but I wouldn’t choose either of them for a child.

I love Hector. It’s one of my favourite boys names. Otto is fine, but not a favourite. Neither of them are unusual though (or at least not by my definition but I know it’s personal). Both are ranked around 250 in popularity and rising quickly, so if popularity is a concern it might be something to think about.

The Dark Greener website is great at visualising how popular names are and if they are rising or falling in popularity.
