Just that really. What do you think?!
Or Tamasin is nice too.

Not so keen on Tamsin ...

Thomasina is nice, Tamsin is nice
I don’t like Tomasin or Tamasin at all personally

partyatthepalace · 03/03/2021 22:01

I think it’s neither one thing nor the other - falls between Tamsin and Thomasina

It’s not especially nice, a bit awkward to say and people will mishear and mispronounce it constantly. Thomasina is pretty though.

No keen on either. I know a Tomasin, she hates it and changed it to Tamsin.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 03/03/2021 13:16

I don't mind Tomasin (neither love, nor hate), although like pp I've only seen it spelt Thomasine before.

Not keen on Tamasin - I think it will get confused with/look like a misspelled Tamsin (which I do like, although I understand you don't).

BastardAnts · 03/03/2021 12:59

I really like it. It’s pretty to look at.
Is it pronounced ‘Thomas-in’ to an English speaker? I have seen ‘Thomasine’ before in UK which is more -eeen sounding at the end.

Tomasin is not nice! I know someone called it and no one ever understands what she's saying. Tamsin is lovely!

halcyondays · 03/03/2021 12:40

I think Tamsin is lovely. Not sure about the others tbh.
