Help me name my twins!

I don’t know the sex yet and I’m unsure if we’re going to find out (keep changing my mind but I quite like the idea of a surprise now). I’m about 18 weeks along now.

Names I love are:

Florence Rose, Lily Annabelle, Sienna (not sure of middle name), and maybe Poppy.

Boys we like are:
Hugo and Wilfred.

I’m just not sure of combinations! My favourite names for B/G would probably be Florence and Hugo, but I think Lily and Wilfred sounds nicer as twins?

So basically what would you choose for:

Boy/ girl
Two boys
Two girls?

I love Florence!
Girls I'd do Florence and Sienna. If you're open to other names I might do Florence and Evelyn.
For one of each I'd do Florence and Hugo/ Alfred/ Arthur/ Ernest

Ithinkhedidit · 05/03/2021 14:57

Oh I like Lily and Wilf! But it does rhyme....I'm still going to vote for that combo though as I think it goes perfectly. For two girls I like Lily and Florence or Lily and Annabelle if that can be a first name.

Sienna and summer ! Beautiful (even tho summer is not on your list) !

amanzapanza · 05/03/2021 14:23

The name Florence is gorgeous and I love you can shorten it down to Flo or Flossy, I just think it's adorable!

I personally prefer Hugo out of the boys names but I feel like Florence and Wilfred have more of a similar vibe than what Florence and Hugo do!

Wishing you a safe and healthy pregnancy x

MooseBreath · 05/03/2021 11:41

I like:

Lily and Hugo
Florence and Sienna
Hugo and Wilfred

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 05/03/2021 04:45

Anna and Rosa I'd say would be my choice, both strong, classic, international and classy.

Also love Anna or Rosa with Hugo.

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 05/03/2021 04:43

From your list:
Florence Rose and Hugo Wilfred
Florence Lily and Annabel Rose (Annabel too frilly with Lily)
Hugo Edward and Wilfred James

I think Eleanor, nickname Nell, and Katherine, nickname Kitty, would be lovely with Florence - Kitty and Flo or Nell and Flo are very cute.

Firebird83 · 04/03/2021 20:17

I don’t think Sienna goes with the others

I like Florence and Annabel, Hugo and Wilfred and Florence and Hugo as combinations.

May2021Mummy · 03/03/2021 20:16

I like Poppy and Hugo lovely names

ParisJeTAime · 03/03/2021 19:22

Oh sorry and if both girls...

Florence and Sienna

Sienna and Hugo
Sienna and Wilfred

Both also very nice too^^. Sorry, I missed that Sienna was an option.

ParisJeTAime · 03/03/2021 19:21

Lily and Hugo
Florence and Hugo
Florence and Wilfred

All lovely! I'm less keen on Lily (and Poppy fwiw), so I'd probably go with Florence and either of the boy names, both of which I really like.

Quercus3 · 03/03/2021 19:09

Florence and Hugo together are fab!

Boringnamechanging · 03/03/2021 14:24

I like
Florence and Wilfred

I personally wouldn't do lily and poppy together because they feel too matchy. I think Florence and sienna sound good together

user1493494961 · 03/03/2021 14:20

I don't like Sienna and I don't think it goes with the other names on your list.

17caterpillars1mouse · 03/03/2021 14:18

Congratulations

I really like Florence and Annabel from your list but they are all nice just not to my taste. I would just avoid putting Lily and Poppy together.

I like both Hugo and Wilfred

I prefer Florence and Hugo

I think I would go for a surprise too :)

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 03/03/2021 14:15

Well, it's spelt Siena, but close enough!

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 03/03/2021 14:14

I'm not keen on trendy Hugo (though I love classic Hugh, nn Hugo), but I like Wilfred.

So I'd chose Florence and Wilfred, both are lovely and retro/vintage cool. Just don't call Wilfred "Fred" - Florence and Fred is a Tesco clothing brand.

I like Lily but it's very popular (and too rhymey with Wilfred), Poppy is very cutesy, and Sienna a bit trendy/celeb. But I admit Florence and Sienna would make a cute girl sibset - both being Italian place names.

partyatthepalace · 03/03/2021 13:01

I like Florence, Annabelle, Wilfred and Hugo

Don’t like Lily, Poppy - too little girly, and there are so many Lilys as well - Jasmine, Iris or Rose? Don’t much like Sienna either - Serena?

Maybe Florence and Hugo or Wilf and Annabelle are best for girl/boy but either combo is good.

RuthW · 03/03/2021 12:19

Florence because I have one and Wilfred as it's one of mr fav names.

I like Hugo too.

I don't think Lily or Poppy go with Florence.

AlwaysLatte · 03/03/2021 11:03

I like Florence and Wilfred, lots of sweet shortened versions like Florrie, Flo, Wilf, Wil and Fred.

noname55 · 03/03/2021 10:58

Oh sorry I didn't read it properly and thought it was one of each! I like all the names but Florence and Hugo is my favourite combination.

noname55 · 03/03/2021 10:57

Florence and Hugo.

Thefaceofboe · 03/03/2021 10:55

I would just be too excited not to find out! I’ve just realised that Millie Mackintosh’s husband is Hugo and their daughter is Sienna, maybe that’s why I think they sound good together Grin

BramStoker · 03/03/2021 10:54

I love Florence and think that goes well with Hugo or Wilfred for G/B twins

Florence and Rose lovely for G/G twins

Littlegirlplustwo · 03/03/2021 10:53

@Thefaceofboe I think we will as I do feel a bit unconnected to the pregnancy. Plus if it’s two boys I have so many of my DD’s clothes to get rid of!

Hugo and Sienna are lovely together, so is Sienna and Florence. I agree about the same vibe with those names. Smile
