Pretty girls names that don't end in an e or a sound...

I'm stuck. Our DD's name ends in a vowel sound and though I love her name, everywhere I go all I hear is more names that end in the same. So this time round I'm wanting to find a name that ends in a consonant sound but is equally pretty. Any ideas?

No suggestions of my own, but here are some useful ones from yesterday's Times birth announcements

I have an Iris

Others on the list (my list anyway, DH vetoed st least half) were

Erin
Alison
Seren
Marianne
Eloise
Lauren
Imogen
Isobel
Juliet
Ellen
Autumn

And Hero which I love but doubt I'd have been brave enough to use, still a vowel but a different one!

Someone I know has just had a little Camille.

I also know/ know of little girls called Faith, Hope, Aster, Addison, Bay and Blair.

purplebiscuits · 02/03/2021 18:28

Love Erin.

Eden too.

FASDE1517 · 02/03/2021 18:15

I mean Alice!

FASDE1517 · 02/03/2021 18:14

Mabel, Florence and Alive are my favourites.

CaffiSaliMali · 02/03/2021 18:14

I've always pronounced Iseult as Iz-ult. The Welsh version is Esyllt and the Cornish version Eseld.

I pronounce Isolde as Iz-old but with the ol like the ol in Oliver rather than the ol in old.

TradedAtlanta · 02/03/2021 18:04

Clearly without realising it I'm also a big fan of Irish names
