What do you think of Georgina-is it common and what are possible nicknames?

Is Nina too much of a stretch for a nickname. It doesn’t sound like a “complete” name to me though

I've always liked it, though didn't use it for my three as DH was less keen.

Went to school with a couple of Georginas and Georgias. Now, one of my friends has named her baby Georgia.

Of the two variations, I prefer Georgina.

I know a Georgia called Gigi

I know two, one is know as Georgie and the other is Georgina. I think it's a lovely name.

Not common. Georgia was a few years ago. Georgina was slightly popular in 50s - 70s so I went to school with a few, usually nn Georgie or George, I suppose Gina would also work.

I know a Georgina who is only known as Tina. I do like female names that can be shortened to a masculine name, a girl nicknamed George is very sweet - handy for future job applications too!
