Read this off a name list and husband now keen.

Nickname of Clark, or Lars, or Clarrie

Unsure whether it’s an underused classic or unheard of for a reason

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Clarence is horrible, Clark is great I’d go with that it doesn’t need a longer form.

Porridgeoat · 26/02/2021 03:24

Like it. Also like Claude, Lawrence

MaxiPaddy · 26/02/2021 03:07

Only if you want him to get beat up on the playground.

Especially if you call him Clarrie.

If you like Clark, call him that. It's a million times better.

Clarence was the name of a Ronnie Barker series. It is one of the few Comedies that has never been shown again!

Anystarinthesky · 26/02/2021 02:09

No, not great.

SewnUp · 26/02/2021 02:08

Can be shortened to Clay... a less common Sons of Anarchy namesake than Jackson Grin

DramaAlpaca · 26/02/2021 02:07

Oh dear me no. Please don't inflict Clarence on your child.

Clark and Lars are too much of a stretch as diminutives, and Clarrie is most definitely feminine.

Tigertigertigertiger · 26/02/2021 02:04

Clarence was a cross eyed lion to a whole generation

iceicesunsun · 26/02/2021 01:22

Unless your surname is house then it's good.

IceFemonLanta · 26/02/2021 01:16

That's name of my friends camper van

BornInAThunderstorm · 26/02/2021 01:15

I quite like it but True Romance is one of my favourite films and Clarence is Christian Slater’s character Smile

Aquamarine1029 · 26/02/2021 01:14

Sorry, it's horrible.

SleepingStandingUp · 26/02/2021 01:13

Unheard for a reason.
