Favourite: Reuben
Least favourite: Wilfred

LarkDescending · 13/02/2021 13:35

Edward is my clear favourite.

Least favourite is Wilfred and especially nn Wilf.

NeverWillIEver · 13/02/2021 13:09

Love Edward. Not keen on the others.

KirstenBlest · 13/02/2021 12:43

Edward - favourite
Reuben - not keen, R names are too trendy, Reuben seems a bit wet and it gets misspelt.
Wilfred - ok but there's one at No 10
Arthur - ok, bit too popular

user1493494961 · 13/02/2021 11:54

Edward favourite by a mile, Arthur OK, not keen on Wilfred, really dislike Reuben.

BikeRunSki · 13/02/2021 10:13

I like them all, Reuben most, Arthur least.

Fembot123 · 13/02/2021 10:11

Edward isn’t common!

35andThriving · 13/02/2021 10:09

I like Reuben and Wilfred.

EdgeOfACoin · 13/02/2021 05:29

Edward - Great, traditional name. Favourite.
Reuben - Really like.
Arthur - Dislike. I'm in London so you hear 'Arfur' a lot. However, I really like the nn Art.
Wilfred - Horrible name. Wilf is awful. Makes me think of the acronym milf 🤪

Holly60 · 13/02/2021 05:20

Edward by a country mile - really lovely name Smile
Then Arthur
Wilfred
Really don’t like Reuben

tappitytaptap · 13/02/2021 05:01

DS2 is Edward but I’m not actually that keen on it - we call him Ted but I (well DH really!) wanted full names on the birth certificate, then he can choose a different nn if he hated Ted when he’s older.

DramaAlpaca · 13/02/2021 01:44

Edward and Arthur I like.

I'm indifferent to Reuben.

I dislike Wilfred.

LadyGAgain · 12/02/2021 22:28

I really like Wilfred and Arthur.
Reuben, a beautiful name. But most of the children I know with this name (and it's not many) will end up in juvenile care/prison. Edward. Cullen. Swoon. But actually, not keen. Teddy would be my choice.

Shmithecat2 · 12/02/2021 22:23

Favourite - Edward
Least favourite (by a country mile) - Reuben. Bloody awful name.

IsThePopeCatholic · 12/02/2021 22:16

Favourite is Reuben. I don’t really like the others.

partyatthepalace · 10/02/2021 21:55

Favourite - Arthur
Least - Wilfred (tho I don’t mind it)

Like the other two

They are all nice names

Cressie2 · 10/02/2021 19:20

Edward or Reuben!

MavisDracula1 · 10/02/2021 18:56

I like Edward and Reuben (I like it spelt Reuben fwiw) best. Hard to decide between them really!

Least favourite is probably Arthur, but there really aren't any bad ones there imo.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 10/02/2021 16:56

Fave - Edward (timeless, lots of nn choices)
Least favourite -Reuben (dislike the sound of it)

Wilfred and Arthur are nice but quite trendy (especially Arthur).

DinosaurDiana · 10/02/2021 16:43

I like Reuben, but prefer it spelt Ruben.

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 10/02/2021 16:42

Favourite Reuben, second Wilfred, third Edward, last Arthur.

Stickytreacle · 10/02/2021 10:15

Fave Edward, least fave Wilfred.

TinyCake · 10/02/2021 10:03

Faves are Edward then Reuben.

Chilldonaldchill · 10/02/2021 09:39

Now I have a different (and possibly very London centric) view.
I see Wilfred as very trendy and of the moment (I know several under 18 months).
Arthur has had its day here - I really like it but all the ones I know are between 6 and 16.
Reuben is more timeless and less common - it would be my favourite even though I prefer Rufus.
Edward is obviously timeless and lovely but I see it as a little more stuffy so I probably wouldn't choose that.

pestopot · 10/02/2021 08:51

Reuben is beautiful.
Arthur also, Art as a nickname is perfect.
Edward a bit too common.
Wilfred unusual, big fan of that one.
Alternatives you might like: Walter, Ray, Alaric, Walden, Wilbur.
