So far the only names we both like are..

Martha
Clara
Alice
Anya
Eva
Thea

Looking for peoples general thoughts on these names if possible.

Clara is my favourite by miles. I like Martha, but only the English pronunciation - in a lot of other countries she would get Marta. That may not matter to you, but something to think about.

Thes is OK but you would probably get different pronunciation attempts (Thee-a versus Taya). Eva and Anya are a bit 'now'. Alice is nice but popular.

Twin girls due in a few months... And I need help! 😭

Right now me and the hubby love these names:

Aubrey
Cleo
Emerson
Esme
Harlow
Liberty
Nevaeh
Nora
Presley
Sloane

Any of these names sound good together? Please give me some ideas too! ☺️🙌

(For context, I already have two other children, Ainsley and Landon).

Martha- a tad old fashioned for a baby. Not keen
Clara- this ones sweet
Alice- i think this names overused, I’m not too keen
Anya- this ones pretty and not too common
Eva- this is the name I chose for my oldest 15 years ago. Personally I love this name but it is becoming very overused I have to agree. I think it’s pretty and I’ve never tired of it so there’s that.
Thea- I like this one. Maybe a bit twee?
Just my opinion though. Good luck choosing a name!

Beautiful names- we have the same taste. I prefer Lara to Clara but Clara is pretty too.

Martha - quite like it, a bit old fashioned, maybe a bit dowdy
Clara - love it, pretty and classic but quite unusual. Also easy to pronounce in most European languages.
Alice - find it very very dull
Anya - OK
Eva - I like it but it's too popular for me
Thea - ditto, I love it but it's very popular

I'd go for Clara.

Martha is very popular in my school...2 in my class.
Clara sounds harsh to me...not keen.
Alice - ok
Anya = not for me...a bit try hard
Eva - can take or leave
Thea - lovely ❤️

Clara - quite nice, Claire also good
Anya - love, simple but quirky
Eva - Ava/Evie/Eve names have been super-popular recently
The other three are a bit staid.

Martha - I'm not normally a big fan of biblical names but this one is lovely
Clara - love this too
Alice - I really like this but it feels from recent months on Mumsnet that this could be about to get really popular. I know 3 in real life aged 19, 17 and 15
Anya - I love this too
Eva - this is the only one I don't like. I find it boring and so so popular. I like Ada.
Thea - gorgeous.

Thea would easily be my favourite but, other than Eva, all your other choices are great.

Martha - not keen, always seems dowdy and fusty to me
Clara - fine but I’ve always found it a bit clunky-sounding. Lara has a much ‘lighter’ sound imo.
Alice - love how timeless it is and the many brilliant namesakes but its popularity would put me off a bit

Anya - really like this - faintly exotic and sophisticated and would travel well
Eva - bland and overdone. Little Evies and Evas everywhere!

Thea - pretty enough but lacks substance for me

My picks would be Anya or Alice if popularity doesn’t bother you.
