Both are awful! What about B names which are actually names? Benjamin, Bruno, Benedictine, Byron....?
I’d argue that only one of these names is any better than Brooke or Berkeley.

Dreadful. Berkeley is a place or surname. Brooke is so American rather like Madison (Avenue).
