Alice is one of my favourite girls names. Since your surname is only two syllables, I'd pair it with something longer (3-4 syllables) and less common since Alice is well used (and for good reason!)

I have an Alice Elizabeth.

We thought about Alice Rose as my eldest dds middle name is Lilly. Both my grandmothers were Elizabeth’s.

Alice is pretty, very classic and timeless (so makes a good safe first name choice), so I'd be tempted to go less popular for the middle name spot. OP, are there any names you liked the sound of but thought were too unusual to use?

If not, then I like (mix of 1/2/3 syllables since I'm not sure what would flow with your surname):
