I loved the name Circe and was dead set on it if I had a girl.

Then a friend (now ex friend) started sex work and used it as her work name. Put me off as you can imagine.

I always liked the name "Athena"with the nickname/ shortened version to "Pallas".

Clio (I have a history degree. I have also owned a Clio car.)
Hebe, Daphne, Iris.

I did like Ariadne until I did Latin A-level and a lengthy set text Catullus poem, and very particularly an exam essay comparing Ariadne on Naxos and Dido at Carthage, but I realise most people won't have those associations...

And I liked Persephone when I was about 8, but then I thought it was pronounced Percy-phone and I'd be aware how confusing it might be at school.

Athena or Athenea but only if pronounced properly (with a Greek accent or other Southern Europe country at most). So only long, open E's.

Oh yes. Echo and Lo. I would never use any in real life. I have finished my sixth book about ancient greek mythology in as many months so I have been thinking about the names a lot.

Juno is the Roman equivalent of Hera. Diana is the Roman equivalent of Artemis.
Thank you for clearing that up for me. At least I like names with similar meanings

Not so sold on male names tbh
