What's your opinion on the name Nancy? I'd like to know if anyone associates it with anything in particular and just a general consensus!

It will always remind me of Nancy Boy by Placebo.

PrivateParty · 03/01/2021 15:46

Old fashioned. Makes me think of a wee old lady.

BritishTeapots · 03/01/2021 15:04

A cool name.

FluffyEggsontoast · 03/01/2021 14:57

Love it. Great choice

Floralnomad · 03/01/2021 14:36

I don’t like it at all , no specific reason I just know that I’d have hated to be called it .

EdgeOfACoin · 03/01/2021 14:31

Not keen, personally.

Nancy was originally a nickname for Ann (Ann - Nan - Nancy).

FippertyGibbett · 03/01/2021 14:13

I like it.
Wish I had used it.

kat0107 · 03/01/2021 14:12

I really like it, mainly because I loved Nancy in Oliver Twist as a child!

Carouselfish · 03/01/2021 13:23

Love it. Reagan. Drew. 50s Americana.

Yennefer19 · 03/01/2021 13:22

Makes me think of stranger things. Not a bad connection but it does make me feel like it’s a bit of a dated name.

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 03/01/2021 13:20

David Cameron’s daughter.

Shmithecat2 · 03/01/2021 13:20

Love it!

NeonSparkle · 03/01/2021 13:19

I love it! Think it’s beautiful, whilst also being a bit trendy/edgy and strong.

inquietant · 03/01/2021 13:19

I associate it with Sid & Nancy and Nancy in Oliver Twist so that's cheerful Grin

DueMay2021 · 03/01/2021 13:18

When I think of Nancy I think of the film Oliver but that's not necessarily a bad thing

partyatthepalace · 03/01/2021 13:12

MotherDanger · 03/01/2021 12:42

Love it. It's my girl name if I ever have a girl.
