Baby groups?

What are the popular names in baby groups now? Curious because a lot of my friends are pregnant (including myself) and want to know what’s on trend right now! I’m from the north east specifically Durham so anything around there will be helpful!!😇

I’m not in your part of the country but had a baby earlier this year so been going to baby groups and have friends with new babies... Popular names seem to be Oliver, William, Samuel, Freddie, Olivia

The list around the country is never dramatically different though. Oliver is number 1 name in most regions for example.
The ONS information will be more helpful to you than me saying 'in my baby group in North East there's two babies called Eric so might be popular, not sure'

Just avoid all the top 100-150 names if popularity is a concern

If you don't want anything too popular then get a list of the official ONS top 100 names (most recent is the 2019 figures) and avoid any and all of the names on the list.

There's been loads of threads recently "what's popular at the moment". I don't really understand how we can help more than the actual chart lists based on data with all the figures online. The data is even broken down by region on the ONS webpage so look there.
