Rory and ?

We are expecting our DS2 and still can't settle on a name. We already have a Rory Nath@niel and we would like something that matches that.

So far DH and I have agreed on liking Blair, Liam, Jamie, Brogan and Jed.

Which one do you think would match the same vibe of DS1? Also any other suggestions are welcome!

I really like your DS's name. These I think would go well:

Douglas Elliott
Lewis Oliver
Magnus Timothy
Harris Barnaby
Callum Dominic

Rory & Ross
Rory & Angus
Rory & Fraser
Rory & Calum
Rory & Ryan
Rory & Struan
Rory & Magnus
Rory & Ivo

Of the names you've asked about my favourite would be Jamie but not sure about two names with the same "ie" sound at the end if you see what I mean?

Innes.

QforCucumber · 24/12/2020 19:48

I have a Rory and a Jacob

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 24/12/2020 19:46

Jamie is nice and works well with Rory (although I personally prefer James on the BC). I only really like Liam as a nn for William, and am not keen on your other choices. How about Alistair ?

I know a
Rory and Felix
Rory and Euan

whatausername · 24/12/2020 13:58

Brogan really doesn't flow imo. 'Blair and Rory' doesn't sound great either. The others are fine, I prefer Jed. Slightly unusual with Rory but in a good way.

Rory and Alfie go nicely together.

Rory and Flynn

Rory is a lovely name. Really hate Blair, reminds me of Tony Blair. Jamie is nice, but dull. Brogan and Jed sound a bit trendy for my taste. I think Liam would fit. I also like:

Rowan
Jack
Fraser
Niall
Aidan
Finn
Auden
Euan / Ewan

Have a Rory and Jamie

LittleTiger007 · 21/12/2020 13:07

I like Jamie from your list, it’s a lovely name and it’s not too common currently either which is good.

Rory Nathaniel &

Jamie Alexander
Toby James
Ned Jeremiah

BlueChampagne · 21/12/2020 12:22

Another vote for Liam. Or Hector.

YoniAndGuy · 20/12/2020 16:18

Only like Jamie from your list (ish) - and it doesn't fit very well in a way as it feels like a nickname. Rory and James is good?

Rory and Hugo

Rory and Max

Rory and Leo

Rory and Bruno

Rory and Colm

Ikeameatballs · 20/12/2020 08:48

Liam or Jamie from your list.

From the other suggestions I like Patrick and Callum.

In keeping with the Irish theme, may I suggest (from my family):

Ronan
Declan
Patrick
Seamus
Francis

I love Liam too, as I have two gorgeous cousins with that name. It's a classic.

DonnaScozzese · 20/12/2020 07:48

All sound fine with Rory apart from Brogan. They don't flow for me.

Alfie?
Aiden?
Ethan?

I don’t feel like any of those have the same vibe.
