  1. Anya

I knew a dog called Lara, so that puts me off.
Melody is just Melanie but with a different twist.

Melody is the sort of name I’d have imagined calling my future dc when I was a young teenager. I can also imagine a lot of people would hear Melanie and I think that would become annoying.

Lara and Anya are both gorgeous - it's hard to pick one. I guess I'd choose Lara as it feels the slightly more classic of the two, Anya a bit more exotic. Melody does have a nice sound but feels a bit tacky to me in comparison (unless you are a very musical family and chose it for that reason?)

Lara would be my second choice.
