I love Lucy

MercyBodle · 17/12/2020 03:06

Lucy is my favourite. Louisa is nice enough, and Merryn is okay.

MeMeMeYou · 16/12/2020 21:01

Louisa, or Merle

pinguwings · 16/12/2020 20:42

Definitely Merryn (but I'm biased as I have a gorgeous 3 year old one!)

Cotswoldmama · 16/12/2020 20:37

What about Moira? I love that name, maybe because I know a lovely Moira!

RickOShay · 16/12/2020 20:18

I love Meriel, such a pretty and unusual name. That would be my choice hands down.

YoniAndGuy · 16/12/2020 20:15

Merryn Louise is perfect. Merry is such a lovely nickname.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 16/12/2020 20:08

Louisa is lovely and would be my choice - classic but not overused. Meriel is very unusual but quite pretty and would be my 2nd choice. Merryn is okay and would be my third. Louise feels a bit dated, Lucy a bit too sweet for me, and Merla too odd.

Firebird83 · 16/12/2020 19:56

Louisa or Merryn

Another beautiful name is Merrell or Meryl. But out of your list I love Merryn.

Floralnomad · 16/12/2020 14:09

Merryn . Bottom would be Lucy / Merla

ellenpartridge · 16/12/2020 14:03

Merryn

MotherOfDragonite · 16/12/2020 12:39

I love Merryn!

You might also want to consider Mirren (similar Scottish name) or Merle (means blackbird in French, very elegant).

PlantPotting · 16/12/2020 12:21

Lucy ! Love the name. So classic and simple
The louisa's I know get called Loo like a toilet. Not ideal

RuthW · 16/12/2020 12:05

I love Louisa

antoniabalognia · 16/12/2020 11:57

Merryn!

Makes a welcome change.
Charming, unpretentious, lovely meaning behind it. Also really like Meriel and that it means 'bright sea'.

Lucy and Louisa close seconds. They're undeniable classics but they've both been mentioned on here quite a lot and are fairly on trend with the Luna, Eloise thing that's going on atm. Aka Lou/Lu names.

Angel2702 · 16/12/2020 11:55

Merryn

SirSamuelVimes · 16/12/2020 11:54
