Naming a little tiny human is so difficult!

DH and I agree on the below names. Any thoughts or additional names to consider.

Joy
Julia
Nancy
Hannah
Anna
Penelope
Erica
Margot

@Carrotcakey

I like all apart from Joy (mainly because I know a nasty bit of work called Joy, ironically!) Nancy is my favourite. That was on my shortlist.
It’s amazing how you don’t realise how many people you dislike until you try and name a child 😂

We know an AMAZING Joy. She’s 91 and an absolute delight.

I hear you on that one OP, I had the same happen to me and almost right away we agreed on using her name as the middle name. It's a lovely tribute, especially including both mums.

Thanks, we have middle names sorted so these are just contenders as first names. MIL died very suddenly and tragically last year so using her name and my mums names as middle names.

Joy - common as a middle name, unusual as a first name ime. I really like it.

Julia - nice

Nancy - no, definitely not half as nice as some of your other options

Hannah - bit boring imo.

Anna - very boring

Penelope - I like it but not sure I'd want to be called it

Erica - love it, unusual choice these days

Margot - also nice

I'd pick Erica or Joy myself.
