I know a 6 year old boy called Anthony, which is a fantastic name.

It's a rarity these days, I think.

Rose. I really don't like it as a middle or hyphenated name (eg Amelia-Rose, Lily Rose etc) but as a single name I absolutely love it.

Beecham · 15/12/2020 09:40

Definitely John and Mary! So classic and definitely under used

Agree with suggestions of John, Mary, Peter, Hugh above.

Has anyone mentioned Jane? Or Anne?

Robert and David, perhaps.

@PurrBox

John Mary
Agree with these - ultimate classic names (were no 1 for decades), short, simple but now very underused. The child would also have the option for more modern/trendy nn's for them, if you used John or Mary on the BC (like Jack or Johnny, May or Molly)

Agree with the above suggestion of Lara!

Also love Sadie and Libby.

For boys I like Ben (rather than Benjamin) and Cassian (could use the nn Cass) at the moment!
