What would you call her?

Also, is the name your ‘if I was brave enough’ name? If not please tell me them both Grin

I’m hoping to find inspiration because we’ve come up with 3 names and none feel ‘right’.

Thank you Xmas Smile

Natalia with it being close to Christmas.

Mammyloveswine · 14/12/2020 16:06

Elodie.. or Clara

BewareTheBeardedFatMan · 14/12/2020 16:04

@Countdowntonothing isn't it. Dd would have been Isis but she was born in 2014... I mean there's bigger reasons to hate them but personally that one rates quite highly for me. Blush

Aurelia, Amelia or Vivienne

Himawarigirl · 14/12/2020 15:51

Jemima, hebe, Hannah or Sophie. If I was braver, clementine or seraphina.

MyPersona · 14/12/2020 15:42

@TheLightSideOfTheMoon

Ramona. Maybe.

I like Luna but it's overused.

Edith. Nora.

Love Arriety but not brave enough.

I’ve seen Arietty mentioned on here quite a few times and always think about the fact that it’s a name from The Borrowers and a feature of their names is that they’re ‘borrowed’ and not quite right.

I wanted Xanthe for DD but was vetoed so she’s Harriet. She’s in her 30s though, so even that raised a few eyebrows at the time.

LemonBreeland · 14/12/2020 15:41

Clementine, I just love it.

cheesecake864 · 14/12/2020 15:40

Anna or Arabella

PattyPan · 14/12/2020 15:37

My knee-jerk reaction was Eleanor which surprised me because normally Isabel, Pippa or Grace are the top of my list.

My ‘if I were brave enough’ names are Arabella and Aurelia, I love them but don’t think we are posh enough to pull them off!

RosesAndHellebores · 14/12/2020 15:36

Xanthe
Ottilie
Isolde

Would be my top three but we have a very complex surname so more likely to be:

Clara
Alice
Esme

Nore · 14/12/2020 15:36

Sadbh.

I don't have a concept of 'brave names'. We gave DS a name that three or fewer babies were named in his year or birth (or whatever number is low enough for them not to give a specific number?), and which, on the rare occasions it comes up on here seems to be in the 'Names I wish I was brave enough to use' category. Which I think is silly. It's an actual name, extremely ordinary in other countries, and he has no issues with it.

lemoncrisp · 14/12/2020 15:26

I'd choose Felicity, Penelope, Josephine, Jennifer or Meredith.
