What would you call her?

Also, is the name your ‘if I was brave enough’ name? If not please tell me them both Grin

I’m hoping to find inspiration because we’ve come up with 3 names and none feel ‘right’.

Thank you Xmas Smile

If I was having a girl I would name her Samantha, but my brave name for her would be persephone.

isawthat · 14/12/2020 17:18

Evelyn Rose

Somebodyotherthanme · 14/12/2020 17:16

Noa or brave choice Scheherezade.

EnPoinsettia · 14/12/2020 17:10

Rebecca Rose

WinterGarden633 · 14/12/2020 17:09

Sabriel. (Pronounced say-briel)

I’ve always liked it, DH vetoed. :(

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 14/12/2020 17:07

Rebecca. And Rachael if she had a twin Smile

Roomba · 14/12/2020 17:06

Hmm, Genevieve, Ygraine or Evangeline. Or maybe Matilda (if DS1 or DS2 had been girls I was going to call them Matilda).

Caramel81 · 14/12/2020 17:01

Hazel

Floridana · 14/12/2020 17:01

Always loved Bonnie but couldn't choose it because it doesn't go well with our last name.
Brave name would be Delta

BarbiesWorld · 14/12/2020 17:00

Martha.

DH was very glad DS was a boy because he hates Martha and I wouldn't budge on it

nevergoingoutagain · 14/12/2020 16:59

Juliette, Helena or Vivienne.

My not so safe name is Rowan but only because it sound ridiculous with my surname.

Middle name would be Hazel after my sister.

Frostythesnowwoman · 14/12/2020 16:58

Nice to have seen DD’s name here Smile

If I was to have another baby girl I would campaign for Ottaline.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 14/12/2020 16:58

Maybe Lois or Lauren

BikeRunSki · 14/12/2020 16:56

Lorelei - the name I wasn’t brave enough to call DD.

Angel2702 · 14/12/2020 16:52

Penelope

Boymumzy · 14/12/2020 16:48

Evangeline (Eve for short)
Winter
Violet
Iris
Ivy
Mazikeen (if I was brave enough, I love Maze from Lucifer 😂)

fdgdfgdfgdfg · 14/12/2020 16:45

Kira

I'm sure she'd give me a kicking in years to come for naming her after a Star Trek character, but I love the name, and the character embodies all of the qualities I'd want in a child.

Unfortunately, my partner absolutely hated the name so my actual daughter is named after a Superman character instead. God, we're geeks.

(And yes, I know Kira was her surname, but Nerys is fucking hideous)

grey12 · 14/12/2020 16:41

The debate around Isis reminded me of something else

A friend of mine was having a boy and thought about calling him Osama! It's a nice name but the family reminded her that maybe it was too soon to give that name to a child Grin

boymum88 · 14/12/2020 16:40

Evelyn
Rose
Ada

waltzingparrot · 14/12/2020 16:38

Eppie
Hetty

CentrifugalBumblePuppy · 14/12/2020 16:38

Persephone or Calliope.

There’s no being brave, both of my children have odd names anyway.

DontStopThinkingAboutTomorrow · 14/12/2020 16:37

My current favourites are Elena and Esther- good for twins?
