Love Naomi but it's not quiiite right and we have no Jewish connection.

•I like that aomi sound. Also like Elodie.
•Into names that begin with N (not Nina)
•Into 3 syllable names

Doesnt start with an N but Ramona?

Agree you dont need a Jewish connection

SmellsLikeAHamsterCage · 12/12/2020 14:02

I don't think you need to be Jewish to use
Naomi.

How are you pronouncing it? Nay-oh-me or Nye-oh-me?

I think Leonie is a nice alternative that is quite similar.

Natalia is a pretty name beginning with N. Or Nadine.

My neice is called Naomi she's just turned 1, her parents have no Jewish connection at all, they just loved the name. Infact I didn't even know it had a Jewish connection, its a beautiful name. Elodie is also beautiful xX

Fwiw I don't think Naomi sounds odd without a Jewish connection.

Poppyolive90 · 12/12/2020 11:44

Though you could definitely use Naomi without having a Jewish connection. It’s also a well used a Christian name as well as Jewish as it’s an OT name (mother of Ruth) but besides that it’s just a nice name that people don’t necessarily associate with a particular religion.

Poppyolive90 · 12/12/2020 11:41

Nadia?
