There are NO names we love

So DP and I have a list of names both like, but definitely don't love - Theo, Archer, Axl, Quill or Quinn.

DP loves Dominic but I don't
I love Leo or Jack but DP doesn't.

Any suggestions for us to consider (and hopefully both love...)

No it's not Rose 😂 but there is a music connection.

I'm still swinging for Leo, and DP has gone from "absolutely no way" to "its not bad" so here's hoping lol

I always thought Axl Rose was the only one: not a name you'd want to pick if your dd was called Rose! Haha!

Axl is unusual. Where is that from OP?

Your lists have several of the US style surname first names, so I'm throwing Lincoln, Ellis, Dixon, Lear, Mason, Wilson, Jackson.

Just a name that was mentioned to us, and does have links to our first born slightly. I loved it at first but I'm swaying on it now.

Nate is surely a diminutive of Nathan - which is lovely.

Don't know if already been mentioned but suddenly thought of Clark, Drew and Guy. Cant really be shortened and they seem a similar style to yours.

I really don't see what surnames have to do with it?

What if we all have the same surname? DP could have taken my name? DC1 could have a double barrelled surname and therefore DC2 would too?

Sorry I'm confused.

I've already said no to his names, and he has said no to mine so we are trying to work out a name that works for us both. Like DC1 name does.

I truly don't believe DP has any tactics, he just likes what he likes (as do I).

@ButterflyOfFreedom oh Carter is nice - ill definitely mention that one to him!

Just a suggestion OP.
Google images of men called Milo — can’t recall them off the top of my head but I do know there were some well known ones, mainly Irish, I believe.
See if the men suit the name and it doesn’t seem too childish.Maybe that will help.
