Talk me into my husband's faves

Ok, so there are a few names that we both like, but there are also a bunch that he likes and I don't. I didn't include any that I totally hate in this list, so these are just the ones that he likes and I don't care for. Please talk me into them! I'd like to find at least a couple here that I don't mind anymore.

Why not pick a name you both like rather than a name that one of you doesn't like? The only name name on that list I could go with us Dakota. I'm not sure why as normally I would dislike that name and it could be a marmite name.

I am one of those names, OP and I don't like ANY of them on your DH's list. I don't like my name. I don't hate it. I just wouldn't name a child my name- put it that way.

How about Damaris? The emphasis is on the first syllable - as in Glamorous.

Delphine is beautiful but thanks to Peppa Pig is also a Donkey.

You need to love the name, both of you.
Also to echo a pp, think about the name at all stages of a child's life - it needs to work for an adult and get a child through the brutality of teenage years.

I'm not keen on any of them, sorry - either too dated, odd or American sounding. But Diana is lovely, classical and elegant (and much less dated than similar Diane) - yes there is the tragic Princess link but that hasn't put people off the name Grace. Diana is also a Roman Goddess and an Amazon Warrior (Wonder Woman), either of which are cool namesakes for a little girl.
