For boy or girl, what are your thoughts? What other names do you think are similar?

Girl as I know one.

Also knew a mare called Remi.

Boy's name.

Lovely French name. It's a boys name to me. I know some people are using Remi for girls in the US and UK.

I went to school with a Remy, she was a bit older than me and had long red hair and was very musical, and when we got older she sang in a band and was generally just incredibly cool. So on that basis I love the name for a girl Smile

It's ok for a boy, but think it might date a bit when the current trend for -y and -ie boys names dies down (half the toddlers at nursery seem to be called Alfie/Charlie/Rory etc).

Rat in Ratatouille. Especially with that spelling.

Remy Martin fizz or Remi Moses the footballer.

I love Romy for a girl

Definitely a boys name.
I’d spell it Remi like the Dutch do (like the archangel Remiel).

I would say it's more of a girls name but I've never heard anyone called it so I could be wrong.

It isn't my cup of tea but I can't seem to find any names I like so I'm probably not much help
