Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

First thought for me is Harry Potter. I think it's a pretty name x

Birdcloud · 02/12/2020 21:58

I think it’s a gorgeous name ( french for flower) I love flora as well. If I’d have had a girl instead of 4 boys, Fleur would have been my first choice.

purplejungle · 02/12/2020 21:56

Much prefer Flora

mangoandraspberries · 02/12/2020 21:52

Looks lovely, but not entirely sure I like how it sounds. Is an interesting choice though, I doubt you’d have another in her year which might be a good thing!

HerculesMuligan · 02/12/2020 21:52

I really don’t like it (sorry). It feels like a sound rather than a name to me. And it doesn’t seem to end with a ‘proper’ sound if you see what I mean

PatchworkElmer · 02/12/2020 21:52

I agree with a PP- sounds like ‘blergh’ to me. I LOVE it written down, but not spoken.

Audreyseyebrows · 02/12/2020 21:48

I really like it. I met a little girl in Spain with the name and loved it.

FoolsAssassin · 02/12/2020 21:46

I like it and recently used it for a pet but ended up changing it as for some weird reason I have trouble saying it .

RosesAndHellebores · 02/12/2020 21:44

I think you should read The Forsyte Saga.

purpleme12 · 02/12/2020 21:42

I think it's great

Allfour1 · 02/12/2020 21:42

@LadyFeliciaMontague couldn't agree more, I'm going with "we've not had any ideas yet" to avoid the inevitable questions.

This is where MN is great for some help with names :)

Looks lovely but sounds a bit like "bleugh" when you say it. And it's difficult to say. Odd mouth movement needed.

LadyFeliciaMontague · 02/12/2020 21:38

I like it.
I would never tell anyone a baby name before they are born and given it though, someone would be bound to ruin it for you.
