What do you think of this name? Heard it on a list and thought it was beautiful but is it too out there? Bare in mind I have a Durham accent but I think it sounds fine? We’re now going between this and Aurora. Which one do you prefer?

This is a list of associated names I found on "nameberry". Some are absolutely crazy (IMO) but this is what nameberry associates with Reverie. I like Aurora. It's your choice of course though :)

I think people will think you said 'Beverly'

Respectabitch · 02/12/2020 17:01

It just makes you come off like you didn't know what the word means.

Pemba · 02/12/2020 16:58

It's not a name (or shouldn't be) because, as a pp said, it's a well known word for something like 'day dream'. It will sound daft. Aurora is nice, and an actual name.

PigsInHeaven · 02/12/2020 16:52

Do you know what it means, OP? As well as suggesting dreaminess, it does also sound like the name a branding consultancy would suggest for an aspirational brand of lingerie.

CaptainCabinets · 02/12/2020 16:49

Aurora. Reverie is way too airy-fairy; it literally means ‘daydream’.
