Depending on the accent pronouncement comes out as Jowl / Jowly. A colleague has a ds named Joel and with her accent she said Jowl

I think it's lovely, the actress Joely Richardson comes to mind.

It's not to my taste but I can't see why a child would be teased for having the name. If you love it then use it.

The reason it caught my eye is because it sounds similar to Joy and Jolly which I thought was lovely.

For anyone wondering:

I think there could be a lot of teasing, I immediately thought of jolenne song and I think that will follow a name like that
