Boys name or girls name?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Both

I know a girl and a boy called Bailey

GinasGirl · 14/11/2020 12:19

I know one child Bailey - a boy. I do also know of several dogs called Bailey too though and that's what I associate the name with now.

DappledOliveGroves · 14/11/2020 12:18

The one I know of is a boy. Named because apparently they were drunk on Baileys when he was conceived Confused

MrsBrunch · 14/11/2020 12:14

I know a female Bailey.

I think it's one of those names that can be for either sex - Leslie, Francis, etc.

Justmuddlingalong · 14/11/2020 12:14

The only one I know is a golden retriever.

MikeUniformMike · 14/11/2020 12:11

Not a labrador, a golden retriever.

SoupDragon · 14/11/2020 11:57

Labrador.

DivisionBelles · 14/11/2020 11:54

I know one of each. Both similar ages, early 20s.

MikeUniformMike · 14/11/2020 11:52

Dog name

Anthilda · 14/11/2020 11:44

Male dog name. Would be awful for a grown man

SeaKingdom · 14/11/2020 11:25

I would assume boy

YoniAndGuy · 14/11/2020 11:21

Boy, but more reincarnated dog. And terrible, needless to say

PiperPiper20 · 14/11/2020 11:02

Dog name. I don't like it on humans at all.

user1493494961 · 14/11/2020 10:59

I know two boys, one girl. I agree with pp, it's better as a surname or drink.

VenusClapTrap · 14/11/2020 09:54

Sounds more like a girl's name, but the only one I know is a little boy. It’s a bit of an odd one, as so closely associated with alcohol.

angstinabaggyjumper · 14/11/2020 09:39

Old Bill Bailey, sounds like biley. Please don't saddle someone with that it's not nice.

Mousepad20 · 14/11/2020 09:32

I'd assume boy.

I don't like it.

Chilldonaldchill · 14/11/2020 09:27

I've only met a couple and they were boys.

ByGrabtharsHammerWhatASavings · 14/11/2020 08:44

I've taught one and he was a boy.

FundamentallyFucked · 14/11/2020 08:23

I know of both. More make them female. More surname than forename.

It's one of those 'cute' for a small boy but really really weird for a grown man names

BishopBrennansArse · 14/11/2020 08:23

I had a girl cat called Bailey.

DepuisToujours · 14/11/2020 08:23

"If I was going to get picky I would say..."

Left out the "I would say" part^^

DepuisToujours · 14/11/2020 08:21

I immediately thought you were asking about naming a boy, as the only Baileys I've heard of are boys. That said, it isn't a very traditional name full stop, so if I was going to get picky it isn't a first name. I'm not that picky though. I think it's fine to use it for either. I don't particularly like it, but that doesn't really matter, if you do.

FippertyGibbett · 14/11/2020 08:16

@CharityPecksniff

Ok if middle name is Motte.
🤣
myhobbyisouting · 14/11/2020 08:15
