Thoughts on the name Callie for a girl? Any any suggestions for middle names?

As the title suggests - considering Callie for our baby girl and would be interested to know people’s thoughts & if you know any other Callies?

Also wondering about middle names - I quite like the idea of a one syllable middle names and Rose is my favourite, DH likes Grace - but both are very common so open to alternatives! Thanks in advance!

I know of a Callie which is short for Caliope (think I've got the spelling right), it's a Greek name I think.

I would have Callie as a shortened form of Caroline. I knew a Greek called Kaliopea and she was Kalia for short, which sounds more like a proper name.

I know a Kaleigh and a Cali, lovely name!

I like it. My friend has a daughter called Callie, her MN is Elizabeth but I think that’s a family name.

I love it. I've met one Callie (who is a child same age as dd2, 8) ever.

I love Callie but I do always think of TuPac singing ‘Shake it Cali’

I really love Callie.
I only know of one and I think she uses it as a nickname (possibly for Caroline)

I like Callie. And I wouldn't worry about how popular the middle name is, because once the birth announcements are over, a middle name is barely used ime.
Grace and Rose both sound nice with Callie.
