How many Theas do you know? I love the name Thea with the full name Theadora. I don't know any so was wondering about it's popularity. Also what kind of person do you picture when you think of a Thea? Isit too serious?

My friend's dd is a Thea. No longer name, but I think it's lovely. She was born 18mo ago.

I knew one at school but that was over 20 years ago. She was a force to be reckoned with just like her mother! I do remember them both being annoyed with how people pronounced her name she was Tay-Yer but often people said Thee-Yer.

I’ve never met or heard of another one since. I do like the name though and Theodora. Sorry all that waffle probably doesn’t help you much!

I love Thea, beautiful and classic name, but if you're going with Theodora then the correct spelling is as I have posted it. She can still be known as Thea. Or just call her Thea!

Thea is great on its own. It’s top 50 but I don’t know one. I think Theodora would be the usual spelling if you wanted a longer name.
