I know three sisters who all have Greek derived names ending with A, as does their mother. I rather like it.

Otherwise, I think Caroline, Catherine, Elizabeth, and Charlotte would all go well.

Helena is lovely but that's a lot of A's if everyone keeps their full name and you refer to them a lot.

LarkDescending · 14/11/2020 06:02

Another vote for lovely Helena.

Emily, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Sarah, Lucy or Madeleine?

I like Caroline (definitely not Carolyn).
The one I know mostly uses her full name but close friends call her Caro.
I really like Callie as a nickname too.

pilates · 13/11/2020 07:18

Yes I think it’s dated and it will be shortened to Caz. It’s not in the same league as Sophia & Alexandra.

Elizabeth
Caroline
Helena
Lucinda

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 12/11/2020 22:21

Caroline is lovely OP - I don't think it's dated, it's had mild highs of popularity sure (and just is currently in a lull) but is a such a classic, elegant name, well used historically by the aristocracy and internationally (and so works perfectly with Alexandra and Sophia).

MercyBodle · 12/11/2020 22:13

I like Caroline and think it works very well with your family. Definitely Caroline not Carolyn (which is rather dated and American in style).

Caroline is fabulous 💚

S00LA · 12/11/2020 21:36

I think you should choose a three syllable name that does NOT end with the letter A.

Lots of lovely choices on this thread.

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 12/11/2020 21:08

I LOVE Caroline - I think it's so understated but beautiful to say and write. It's defo due a comeback.

I would say Elizabeth is the answer to your quest, only because I have one myself and am biased. Good luck with it all!

Definitely Caroline. It's my middle name! Goes beautifully but interestingly I was going to say Francesca which has been suggested more than once!
